Lyndall Watson was born and grew up in Geelong, Australia. She is a teacher, artist and sometimes designer. Lyndall predominantly works in tapestry and woven textiles, but her practice also includes site-specific installations and illustration. She has a Master of Arts (Art in Public Space) from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts (Textile Design) from RMIT University, including an exchange semester at Nottingham Trent University, UK. She also has a Master of Teaching (Secondary) and is a registered teacher in Western Australia.

Her work has been featured in several exhibitions in Australia. Lyndall is currently based in Walpole, Western Australia. She has previously lived and worked in Perth, Darwin and Melbourne.
