Bricks made of fabric and mortar made of yarn. This simplistic yet subversive idea explores the way we consider our surroundings on a daily basis. There are patterns and repetitions in our clothing, behaviour, routines and pretty much most of what we do. As such repetition spreads to our surroundings, we become subconsciously conditioned to expect the same old thing. “Another Brick in the Wall” looks to discourage such acceptance of the mundane, while still embracing the beauty and reliance found in repetition.
